End of Summer

Summer is at an end (I hadn't noticed it starting!) Busy times up here and also abroad. I was at WhiskyLive Paris a couple of weeks ago and as usual it was a great success. Our new vintages 2000 and 1978 were very warmly received. Some lucky customers had the chance to have a very fine lunch accompanied by a dram of the very rare vintage 1965.
Boiler failure has caused a few headaches but we are now all systems go. Fingers crossed until the end of the year. Mike Ross celebrates 25 years of service at the distillery. Presentation and lunch tomorrow (6th Oct) Well done Mike. I have 20 more to do!
A steady stream of visitors continue to come to Balblair. With a Visitor Centre in place next year I expect this to increase.
